Blending in is boring. Stand out & be
yourself!

HCD Artworks celebrates bold, vibrant colours, anything that glitters, and personal self-expression. All of this together, we believe, leads to more joy!

…or simply put, it helps to untangle the stress of life that we often experience.

So if you agree with that, you’ve found a part of the internet that’s meant for you.

(Oh, and 1 other thing…we also think there should be much less beige. No shade, we’re just tired of the lack of colour. 🤭)

Hi! I’m Heather: artist, silly goose, dreamer, creative, stubborn…I mean, sassy… Newfoundlander gal pal. Just doing my best to get through life with a brain injury that put me out of work.

A map of the United States with each state colored in a different vibrant shade, including pink, yellow, blue, and black.

I’m working on turning all of my life’s plot twists into honest, colourful, meaningful art.
At least, when my TBI symptoms allow me to.

Basically, I’m trying to still find the joy and beauty while living with a mental mess! (We can call that mess the “real magic”, because really, it does get spicy sometimes.)

If you’ve been searching for real and unapologetic living + honest art and expression instead of the ‘slop’ generated by a written prompt that we currently see everywhere (don’t get me started); you’re in the right place, and I LOVE that you’re here!

Much love, Heather

A photo of Heather. She has blonde hair, wearing a white t-shirt with colourful Rolling Stones logo graphics, over a pink long-sleeve mesh shirt, & black pants. She's sitting on a pink/purple sofa, with her hands tousling her hair, smiling.
